Basic Philosophy of Corporate Governance

Since its founding in 1989, SPARX Group Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies (SPARX Group) has managed investments using a thorough bottom-up approach grounded in the philosophy that "the Macro is the Aggregate of the Micro." Thus SPARX Group has offered asset management services that have earned the trust of numerous clients.

By achieving sustainable growth and improved corporate value over the medium to long term, SPARX Group keeps striving "to be the most trusted and respected investment company in the world" and to realize its mission "to make the world wealthier, healthier, and happier."

We consider a crucial aspect of corporate governance to be that the board of directors, which includes outside directors, accepts independent, objective opinions as it makes prompt and proper operational decisions and its members monitor each other's actions. Another vital attribute is that the board of auditors fulfills its role of ensuring appropriate restraint by monitoring and verifying the actions of individual directors.
